Granny Maria was already serving meals and providing accommodation in 1944 at the small guest house she ran, right in the middle of the village of Begur. Her son bought the building that now houses the Hotel Rosa, and expanded the restaurant to serve more diners.

In 1994, the third generation took charge of the Fonda Caner Restaurant and the Hotel Rosa, providing a breath of fresh air, updating and renovating it, but without losing sight of the original objective: offering our clients the highest quality and personal service.
Today, we have inherited a business where guests become friends.
